Eligibility Criteria
Minimum 2nd Class Bachelor’s Degree in the concerned subject (discipline*) with atleast 55% marks/ equivalent OGPA.
Minimum 2nd Class Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with atleast 55% marks/ equivalent OGPA.
The candidate must have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences) rated journal.
A relaxation of 5% will be provided from 55% of the Bachelor’s Degree level and the Master’s Degree level for the Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe and Persons with Disability (PwD) category candidates.
Candidates, who have appeared the NET examination, can apply for the post of Assistant Professor/ Equivalent, with an undertaking to produce the NET Clearance Certificate on the date of interview.
NET/SLET/SET should be cleared in a related subject conducted by ICAR/UGC/ CSIR/ ICMR or any other similar bodies.
